I tried really hard to make all of my buildings look like the trees had help in holding up the buildings and pathways. Hey, we would definitely like to see your creations. I had a quick question Unfortunately, even those with faithful resource packs ,inecraft not allowed and we have probably written a "warning" comment on the submission, saying we are not gonna judge the build unless textures have been reverted and are pure vanilla. And no problem for making these challenges, they keep me inspired to, seeing all of the amazing things you guys create! There's four of us judges and usually if one of us misses it, the others or at least someone will pick it out.

However, compared to other builds and entries this week, it didn't stand out for me as much. Also, what's your in game brightness at?

I ended up not doing that though as I thought it would take a lot of focus off of the red and black concrete of the battle arena's walls and gates. The shield and spear look great. Only problem will be finding the time to do it because these competition builds take up most of my Minecraft time lol. Yeah, I've ruined good builds by mixing things up too much, so now I give myself limits.

Also, just to add on Akaed's response, don't hesitate to use some different height levels. Good luck with finishing your colosseum and have fun gaming! If you are ever low on ideas, you could definitely open a poll, I've seen some really cool ideas out there that I never would have thought of and I love challenge builds.

Most important thing is to have fun which I think you do and share your idea s with community. It might sound a little bit "egoistic" since I'm studying history of art in university, but I'd like players to not only know how to build stuff, but also learn a little bit how to distinguish different styles of architecture.
